Application Forms
Application forms can be downloaded from the college website or obtained from the college Registry Office.

Submission of Forms
Attach certified copies of identity documents, academic certificates and marriage certificate (where applicable).

Tests
There may or may not be entry exams. The prospective student is however encouraged to always be ready.

Interview
Only shortlisted candidates will be invited for the interview.

Decision
An Enrollment Committee led by the Principal decides the fate of the appplicants.
The aim of the course is to expose students to a large body of theoretical knowledge in philosophical, curriculum studies, educational management, sociological and psychological foundations of education.
The aim of the programme is to produce specialist teachers who are capable of meeting the unique needs of all learners regardless of any disabilities so that they live a total life participating in the family and community to the greatest extent possible.
The aim of the course is to expose students to a full understanding of knowledge on developing children from 0-8 years, socially, emotionally, physically, intellectually and spiritually.
Fees & Fundings
Tuition Fees
The Fees is determined by the Ministry and the Department of Teacher Education at University of Zimbabwe.
Books and Stationery
Students are expected to purchase prescribed books and stationery for use in the various subject areas.
Accomodation
All registered students are guaranteed college accommodation on campus throughout their period of study.
Government Funding
Students are encouraged to apply to the Government. UCE does not offer scholarships.

Interesting Facts About UCE?
The unique name of the college derives from the unity of these churches in the vision which culminated in the establishment of this college.
The college was first housed at Msiteli Primary School (now Msiteli Secondary School) and moved to the present site in 1970. Immediately after independence, in 1982, the churches donated the college to the new government and it then became a government institution.
Like other government colleges which train teachers, United College of Education is an associate college of the University of Zimbabwe. As the college community, we are proud to be associated with this heritage and we remain firmly committed to carry to fruition the vision of the churches and partners.
